Business Bio. For the last 30 years, Robinson has been the visionary of engineering products for many of the 80s and 90s Fortune 500 corporations where he gained and implemented significant management and entrepreneurial skills. After years of experience in the electro mechanical design arena, Robinson started his own engineering firm in the late 80s called, Electro Art Inc, where he managed a team of design engineers, sales and administrative personnel, and offered the latest innovations in design services to the areas high tech companies. A management achievements was when Arthur D Little recommended to Digital Corp, Electro Art as there second choice in supporting Digital’s engineering team, after months of meetings and reviews of Electro Art design practices, theories and management ideals Electro Art was awarded the contract. Electro Arts clients were such as: Digital Corp, Arthur D. Little, Bard Medical, Zoll Medical, MIT, the Harvard Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory and Chrysler Motors among others. While technically proficient, he is also creatively savvy as he demonstrated this by his design, development and implementation of a unique computer controlled in-door snow making system for Chrysler Motors in the early 90s. The system was used to test the effects of powdered snow on their vehicles without leaving the plant. After installing a successful snow system at Chrysler Tech Center, the news traveled to NASA’s engineers and Robinson soon was contracted by NASA thru Cox Industries to work on development, and design a snowmaking system to operate in a 450 MPH wind tunnel to test the icing on the wings of aircrafts. From there, Robinson moved on to the telecommunications industry where Access Telecom was conceived in early 1990. In addition to providing competitive long-distance telephone service – especially to the Dominican Republic and the rest of Latin America – Access Telecom, provides telephony technology and telecommunications consulting. Robinson moved Access Telecom to be now known as Boston Telecom. Boston Telecom became a pioneer on how to manage high risk accounts meeting the complaints of the FCC ( Federal Communication Commission) and PUC (Public Utility Commission) via Bell Atlantic Systems now known as Verizon. Robinson operates Robinson’s Consulting Services where he develops new product lines for customers to change how computers or electronic instrumentation are paged for size and rugged environments; Robinson received his degree in Mechanical Design Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Manufacturing where he continues to be a true entrepreneur and visionary in his time |
